Digital Skills for Entrepreneurship

The goal of the “Key Digital Skills for Entrepreneurship‚Äô module is to help trainers provide the basic digital skills needed for young people. Understanding how and where to acquire the right digital knowledge is a key element of this module as well as how to increase their own curiosity on the matter.

The ENTREPVET Entrepreneurial journey is designed to help build their learning skills and  in particular in this module, their digital skills in preparation of the development of a business idea.  The model also links to employability skills and EntreComp competences.

This module is interactive and uses different tools to enable full participation and engagement – videos, discussions, worksheets, role play and session plans.

This module has been designed in order to be delivered with the help of a trainer.

 What are the learning outcomes?

At the end of this module,

  • The learner will be able to use the social media effectively in order to promote their businesses but also search for jobs
  • The learner will be aware of how to stay safe online, share data, ensuring that searched data is correct, ensuring compliance with privacy rules
  • The learner will be able to come up with practical solutions with regards to branding and internet search

 Lesson Plan #1 : Social media and entrepreneurship

Aim of the lesson plan:

To present social media as marketing and PR tools in a new business.

Learning Outcomes:

The learners can use the social media effectively in order to promote their businesses but also search for jobs.

Length:

6 activities = up to 4 hours

 Lesson Plan #2 : Safety and data accuracy in digital environment

Aim of the lesson plan:

To provide a practical overview of how to be present online bearing in mind security, trustworthy data sources and data sharing.

Learning Outcomes:

Learners are aware of how to stay safe online, share data, ensuring that searched data is correct, ensuring compliance with privacy rules.

Length:

6 activities = 120 minutes

 Lesson Plan #3 : Visual identity

Aim of the lesson plan:

To be able to create company’s identity and presence

Learning Outcomes:

Learners can create a logo, business cards and come up with name of a company.

Length:

5 activities = 180  minutes
